John McCain 2008

I've been hoping to hear more from the campaign about the incredible McCain women, and it appears my wish is being granted!

I loved this piece in the Chicago Tribune. Cindy conducts herself with poise and grace even under stressful circumstances, I think she will be an outstanding First Lady. Cindy has a sub-site on the official campaign site, you can sign up as a 'Woman for McCain!' . The younger woman in the picture is daughter Meghan of the revealing and visually-stimulating McCain Blogette. And don't forget John's mother, Roberta 'Nana' McCain, in her mid-90's and still as feisty as ever. So much for being too old!)

Please take a minute to sign up, and let the campaign know that what issues you want to hear about as a female voter. More women voted in 2004 than men, and we have the grassroots influence to get our guy in office. Our voices must be heard!

PS - UPDATE (4pm): Looks like the Clinton campaign is reading my blog and stealing my ideas!!

Yes, you are correct they are stealing the idea from McCain's for sure. I love his mother Roberta, as she was here in N.H. most of the time. I had a chance to meet her when she was here in Goffstown with her son. His mom is amazing lady without a doubt. You can see where Senator McCain gets his energy from, his mom.

I haven't had a chance to meet Cindy as of yet, but am anxious to as she does appear to be an exciting and fun loving lady. I fully agree as Cindy McCain will be one great "First Lady" representing all of us. Cindy will make all of us very Proud, as will John McCain as our President.

I have met Meghan and she is a pure delightful young lady, she traveled with her Dad most of the time while here in N.H.

Obama is as fake as they come and I'm thankful that the news media is finally bringing out all this information as to the fact "No one really knows much of anything about" Obama. He sacres me, nothing I've seen about him that I like at all.

To be fair, they're actually stealing the McCain campaign's ideas, as the photo of Cindy, Meghan and Roberta was posted a while ago (found it when looking for the Moms site, which WAS my idea). I would like to see the campaign promoting this more - Cindy and Meghan are bright and articulate and could help mobilize support.

I think all 3 campaigns are waking up and smelling the proverbial coffee when it comes to women voters. All sides acknowledge the Dems will have "defectors" to McCain once they name the nominee, my gut is they will name Obama and proportionately more women will become 'undecided.' We also can smell a phony a mile away – if McCain emphasizes his experience and actual accomplishments, his REALness will resonate over Obama's eloquent platitudes and McCain will win women hands down.

It sure does not surprise me that the Clinton people are stealing your ideas as you have some great ones. One of the things I find very interesting is that I do not remember for the life of me, every seeing Hillary's mother during the time the Clintons were in the White House. Maybe once, but certainly not more then that. Now Hillary has her poor mother campaigning with her whether she wants to do it or not.
I've even seen an add run here on t.v. in N.H., whoopie actually I felt bad for her mom as not so sure she felt like it was something she wanted to do.

Well I guess you should take it as a compliment if the Clinton people find it necessary to steal your ideas. LOL
