Well come on, you've set the bar so high! LOL! What kind of tiger fan are you?

I Agree with you 1000%! If you look at the breakdown of your Primary Votes (if you haven't looked at them, cnn.com has them for every State. Click on "Politics" then "Election" and the Primary and select your State). You will be AMAZED at which age group is the largest that voted for Obama. In South Carolina, it was the 30-49 age group. And here, we thought it was the 20 somethings that were voting for Obama. Also, HUGE turnout for women something like 59% voted for this guy. So Get with your "WOMEN FOR MCCAIN" in your County and help them if you can!

I just don't get it. I used to feel like I was hitting my head against a wall with political stuff. I kind-of liked it, because I usually could get someone to see the light. Now, I am hitting my head against a wall with this election and it is really starting to hurt! I can't seem to get people to see the problems with this guy...It's like Obama got them to drink the "punch" or something.

I started a couple of discussions. Right now I'm on vacation, and of course with my luck I just happen to be in the path of Hurricane Dolly (after swimming with a hammerhead shark the first day here). Yep, we do everything big in Texas! I just hope the storm doesn't get too bad in the next few hours...

Hi Tigrefan,
Glad to hear that you finally had a chance to meet our man John McCain. Isn't he amazing, he's much more down to earth then most people realize.

You mention baking some pies, while he was here in N.H. I made him some no bake cookies and some peanut butter fudge which I gave to his bus driver Jay to leave for him. Also made some for Jay, as we got to be good friends while he was driving around N.H. on some cold snowy days.

Nice to hear that he made mention of New Hampshire as am sure he knows how much the people here love him. Makes me proud for sure.

I read your blog which I found interesting, great writing. Am sure now that he has the secret service with him it will be more difficult to get up close to chat with him, as we here in N.H. are use to doing. But also understand he needs to them, he put it off as long as he could.

Ha! I like you already. My husband and I had the honor of meeting Laura when she came to Phoenix to assist with Senator Jon Kyl's campaign in 2006. He is my father-in-law. I am an avid Republican and look forward to helping Senator McCain win the White House. Go Mac!

Yeah, but at least they're not friends with terrorists (although Tinky-Winky always looked subversive to me!!)

Overcoming Objections: When McCain is the Runner-Up

A few weeks ago, I spent a few posts addressing potential objections to McCain's candidacy. There is another challenge ahead: appealing to people whose hearts belonged to another candidate.

Let's face it, the primaries were ugly. Mud was slung. Podiums were pounded. Nominees were chosen (fairly or unfairly), PUMAs were born. And millions of Americans are now left with two men who weren't their first choice. Here are some of the objections

Q&A with Tracy from 'Independents for McCain'

We’ve heard from Republicans and Democrats supporting McCain, today’s Q&A is with Tracy, a Mom from Austin, Texas. Tracy is the founder of 'Independents for McCain', and is one of many non-partisan people across America supporting McCain for President. Check out her blog on the Ning site or MySpace. Thanks Tracy for sharing your thoughts!

Yes, I am a compulsive list maker. And no, these are not brilliant policy suggestions. I am not a 'wonkette', I am merely an average citizen who desperately wants a competent President.

If McCain wants to win, he needs some fresh ideas to shake things up.
SO, for your consideration, 50 ideas to get started.

SLOGANS! McCain needs ‘em. Good ones.

Here Come the Judge(s)

In a desperate effort to cling keep the women voters they screwed over, Howard Dean and cronies are threatening women with a magic word: ‘Judges.’ The assumption of course, is that McCain’s constitutionalist judges would (rightly) rule Roe v. Wade unconstitutional and 18 million Hillary supporters would thus dutifully vote for Obama. The fear-mongering Democrats forget two key things: the role… Continue

Overcoming Objections: The War

Like many Moms, I turn off the news when the dramatic "Iraq" logo sails onto the screen. I don't want my kids exposed to the violence - or the obnoxiously biased reporting that underestimates, and often undermines, our troops' efforts. (See a military Mom's take on this here.)

That said, you will encounter people who hesitate on McCain because of his Iraq stance - here are some intelligent responses to Iraq object… Continue
