America as an Entitlement Society
With all the massive spending by the Obama Administration to bail out our failing economy, IMO we are well on our way to becoming an 'entitlement' society.
To all America's friends, near and wide...do not fear that there will be a meltdown of the U.S. dollar or that the U.S. economy will fail...for there are plenty of 'green buds' sprouting on the horizon.
Actually, this had begun many years ago with the advent of America's 'reforestation' program in which millions of acres of old growth forest that had been previously harvested in the Pacific Northwest had been replanted.
So, if anyone out there is worried about paper, there is plenty of 'green' out there for the budding dollar on the horizon.
To the worry about the devaluation of the dollar against other currencies..I wouldn't worry about that: The people that Obama has appointed at the U.S. Treasury are competent and capable. The dollar was taken off the gold standard during the mid-70s. The only thing that supports the US dollar is the willingness of the world to accept it as a universal medium of exchange, and the 'willingness' of the world will be matched by the good deeds of America.
If you are now wondering what will bolster universal confidence in the dollar in this BRAVE NEW WORLD that we are entering, here is is:
1. Our ability to justly and righteously distribute funds from the printing presses of the U.S. Treasury to the American people and to present creditors around the world.
2. Our ability to justly micro and macro regulate the financial markets in the United States to the benefit and satisfaction of all the international markets and exchanges dependent on the financial health of the American markets.
3. Our ability to police the new financial regulatory climate that is currently under engineering by the Obama Administration.
4. Our ability to maintain an abundance of natural and 'agricultural' resources for the production of paper money. Our ability to produce 'green' has now become 'gold'.
5. Our ability to pay with cash rather than with credit.
6. Our ability to stop using credit with interest to finance the activities of the U.S. Government and our ability to pay off all interest-bearing credit with cash.
7. Our ability to stop all counterfeiting of the U.S. dollar and to maintain absolute confidence in our ability to do so on a universal scale.(Counterfeiters of the U.S. dollar will be damned...the dollar is in legal production for the good of mankind)
If our government is able to gain confidence in all these areas in the future, there will be no worry about the devaluation of the currency - so as long as the U.S. has the capacity to print money and a lot of it (to pay off current debt and to not pass it on to future generations).
I suppose that this is the reward for America, created in Heaven, for the many sacrifices that the American people have made for other peoples around the world.
Truly, 'All things work together for good for those of us who love God, for those of us who are called according to his purpose'.
